Our Story
Hi, I am Sarah, I run Popsidaisickle and get the fun of making your mobiles with the help of a great team. We are based near Derby in the Midlands, England. I am a mum to two fierce girlies, Bella Poppy & Gracie Daisy….hence Popsidaisickle.
designing and hand making beautiful items for your nursery, child's bedroom and home.
I used to teach dance, specialising in classical ballet. It was a dream, I met incredible young people who have gone on to do incredible things. I fell in love, got married, had my babies and things changed. I enjoyed maternity leave….however, extended maternity leave left things tight. I made a couple of mobiles for baby shower presents, got orders and here we are!
It seems I am very lucky in my work. I loved my teaching job and love Popsidaisickle. I am definitely influenced by the beauty of ballet, the soft tones, blended by light, the simple but sparkle, the tidiness and clean lines….I honed my sewing skills on ballet shoes and costumes. Who knew it would all lead me here…..
I have a great team working with me, sewing flexibly around other work commitments and family.
